This is Julie's secret weapon to achieve healthier skin from the inside out.
Our Natural Facelift Ritual is designed to be incorporated into your daily skincare regime alongside our organic skincare line. This daily practice of a complete facial self-care ritual will benefit your wellbeing and leave you feeling your best.
Why Julie created the Natural Facelift Ritual
As an holistic aesthetician I love treating clients to facials and empowering them with knowledge about their skin. I started recognizing that everyone wanted to know how to take care of their face at home beyond just applying products and specifically to know exactly HOW to apply our serum. This is why we designed our natural facelift ritual as a poster you can put up in your bathroom and do this ritual everyday.
"I feel that this ritual has truly changed my life. It’s empowered me to understand my skin at a deeper level and I am so excited for you to get in touch with your face in the same way. "
Our relationship to our skin is one of - if not the most - complicated relationship we have with our body. We judge ourselves heavily on how our skin looks and are quick to say negative things or think negatively about it. I have had skin issues my whole life and i have learnt that hating my skin only makes things harder and possibly worse. I now try and empower all of our clients to truly love their skin and that starts by touching it with positive, healing, loving intention. This ritual is all part of that, every morning you are giving your face a gift. You are stimulating it, waking it, releasing tension and helping it let go of toxins that if not calmed and balanced, may come out in a form of pimples, blackheads or milia.
Benefits
The benefits of our two minute Facelift Ritual help to encourage blood flow and cell regeneration to strengthen and support your body’s natural function. Skin that feels dull and lifeless is rejuvenated and detoxified through stimulating acupressure points, giving a brighter, less congested appearance. Our massage technique works to ease tension and support the tone and elasticity in all facial muscles, aiming to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve overall texture.
Acupressure points - stimulate to awaken the face. In traditional chinese medicine these points are connected to various parts of the body and by applying gentle pressure you can increase the function of these organs and improve your overall health.
Massage Technique - gives the appearance of a younger complexion by reducing tension, softening wrinkles, and toning and contouring the face through lymphatic drainage. Massaging the face breaks up muscle tissue that causes wrinkles and stimulates collagen production for more toned and smooth skin. Reduce puffiness and improve contours by draining fluids and toxins from the face. Massage to release the toxins and drain them down the neck to the lymph nodes for a lifted appearance.
More Tips…
- Use gentle pressure around the eye area with the exception of under the brow
- Never pull on the skin under your eye
- Placing your thumbs on your temples or under your jawline while massaging will help stabilize and allow you to increase pressure across the forehead or along the cheekbones
- Apply more oil to your neck before final draining
- Use gentle pressure on your neck
- Warm your face serum between your palms before applying evenly all over the face
